Introduction

Scan Nepal is an attempt to facilitate digitalized tourism by making it easier for tourist to get information about popular destinations sites of Nepal. It’s also a technological initiation to bridge the gap between tourist and destination site. It requires just a second for scanning the QR code and user will be directed to the vault of information about that particular site. This app will give privilege for visitors to access the information in written form and with internet you can enjoy audio/visual source too.

Pioneer Research Centre Nepal has installed information loaded QR codes in various selected project destination. Now the locals and tourist visiting this area can access the information about various sites by scanning the QR codes via their smart phone offline mode. This app allows users to scan the QR codes and get information about the specific sites in both offline and online mode. This app is developed under the ‘Smart Tourism’ project initiated by Pioneer Research Centre Nepal (PRCN) with the aim to digitalize tourism and bring information about places at your fingertips.
